The Institute is affiliated with the FPMT (Foundation of the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition)

Weekly Programme:
Wednesdays 10:30am - 12noon teaching with Geshe Jamyang
Wednesdays 6:30pm - 7:30pm teaching or meditation/discussion with a monk or nun
Thursdays 1:15pm - 1:45pm guided meditation with a monk or nun
Thursdays 7pm - 8:30pm teaching with Geshe Jamyang
Fridays 1:45pm - 2:30pm Taste of Tibetan Buddhism with a nun

Teachings at Chenrezig Institute are based on the Buddhist tradition of Lama Tsongkhapa of Tibet as taught to us by our founder Lama Thubten Yeshe and spiritual director Lama Zopa Rinpoche. Lama Tsongkhapa (1357–1419) was the founder of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism. The Dalai Lama is the temporal head of the Gelug school
